Congratulations to Mixed Game Champion: Kim Jardin

The Mixed Game Champion points race was a neck-and-neck affair between Allen Kessler, Matthew Jordan, Chris Probst, and James Hinton; each the winner of separate Mixed Game events at Mission RunGood Graton this week.  Kessler and Jordan each held 39 points while Probst and Hinton held 37. The $400 8-Game Mix would determine who would take home the title and the trophy.

Kessler, Jordan, and Hinton entered the 8-Game event, but were each eliminated before the money bubble burst. As the final table began, just one player remained with enough points to overtake the lead:  Kim Jardin. Jardin began the day with 26 points, most of them earned through a third-place finish in the T.O.R.S.E. event on Thursday.

Jardin would need a fifth-place finish or better to take over the point leaders and earn the title of Mixed Game Champion--and that is exactly what he accomplished.  With fifth place, Jardin added 16 points to his scorecard for a total of 42.

Congratulations to Mixed Game Champion Kim Jardin for outperforming 87 other players in mixed game events this week!
