Kasey Orr dominated the final two tables of the $200,000 Guaranteed RunGood Poker Series $575 Main Event, eliminating seven players in a row at one stage, closing out the tournament with three straight bustouts before he and Nick Estrella agreed to bring the event to its conclusion.
"I've played for 10 years and never cashed in a tournament this big with 890 entries," said Orr. "I could almost fly right now," added the Reno regular at the Peppermill Poker Room.
Orr earns $65,728, the RunGood Contenders trophy and an entry in the season-end RunGood ProAm at the PokerGo studios in Las Vegas.
The tournament drew a RunGood Poker Series all-time record of 890 entries across three flights, the players creating a prize pool of $445,000. A total of 112 players - all in-the-money - qualified for today's Day 2 Final.
Among those earning a tournament cash was RunGood Ambassadors Jeff Platt, Blair Hinkle, Julie Cornelius, Dan 'Wretchy' Martin and Bernard Lee.
