He made the final table of the $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em event and finished third after flopping a wheel. His opponent made a full house and Dechant finished took home $281,691 for his finish.
He had already bagged the $365 Giant and went on to win the $291,906 first prize and his first WSOP bracelet in only his second final table appearance.
Dechant is from Henderson, NV and four of his five WSOP cashes came at the 2017 World Series. He's in the field today looking to book his seat to Day 2.
