With Flight A of the RunGood Cup Championship in the books (click here for the live coverage), the VIP package winners were whisked away to Tujague's for the RunGood/Blaycation Welcome Dinner.  Tujague's is one of New Orleans' oldest restaurants, established in 1856 by immigrants Guillaume and Marie Abadie Tujague from Bordeaux, France. With over 150 years of history behind it, Tujague's is a legendary New Orleans institution. For the full history of this amazing restaurant, click here

The cuisine included hors-d'oeuvres of alligator and andouille sausage, with entrees simmered beef brisket, gulf shrimp with pennette pasta in a garlic cream sauce, traditional gumbo over rice, grilled "airline" chicken, and for dessert, bread pudding and petite pecan pies. Of course, it wouldn't be a RunGood event without an open bar and a room full of gamblers enjoying themselves.

The setting and service were completely informal, occupying all three second-floor dining rooms as well as the balcony overlooking Decatur Street, just across Madison from Jackson Square.  A complete set of photos from the event are available on the RunGoodGear.com Facebook photo album.

RunGoodGear President and CEO Tana Karn took the floor following the dinner service to thank all the VIP's for coming, for helping to make RunGood the company it is today. He also thanked the venues who host RunGood tournaments, whose poker room managers were present: Byron Long of Hard Rock Tulsa, Jason Collins of Downstream Casino Resort, and Andrew Brock of Harrah's Council Bluffs.

"The Inaugural WSOP had Johnny Moss," Tana said, "I can't wait to find out who our Johnny Moss is going to be for the Inaugural RunGood Cup Championship."
