RunGood's second trip to Tunica was another rousing success and the weekend wrapped up with Harris Smith standing in the winner's circle. The Tennessee native overcame a tough field of 472 entrants to take home first-place in an ICM deal with Chris Conrad and Michael Pelt.

Mostly an online player, Smith decided to enter the RunGood Main Event citing the would only need six hours to make it through Day 1. Smith indeed made it through and bagged 44,000 coming into Day 2.

Smith quickly climbed the leaderboard and was among the top chip stacks up to the final table.

The flair for the dramatic suited Smith well, as evidenced by his massive bluff against Mike Cordell with 16 players remaining. Smith went three-barrels with 8♣7♠ on a K♣9♣3♠9A board and never looked back from there.

Smith started the final table in the middle of the pack and hung around as chip leader Michael Pelt cleared out most of the competition. The big break for Smith came when he doubled up against Pelt.

With the blinds at 20,000/40,000, Smith called all-in to a three-bet from Pelt with AA. Pelt held 44♠ and Smith survived the Q♣J10♣4♣K♠ board to double-up.

Once the field went down three-handed, Smith negotiated a deal with Conrad and Pelt to net himself first-place in an ICM deal.
