Level 28 (30,000/60,000/10,000)
Total Entrants: 319

Players Remaining: 1
Average Stack: 6,380,000

The second stop on the RunGood Open Water Fall Season drew another large field to Council Bluffs as 319 players entered this weekend. Of those 319, just over 100 made Day 2 with Kelly Van De Mheen entering Championship Sunday top-10 in chips.

Van De Mheen was among the chip leaders for most of Day 2 play but hit some strife on the verge of the final table. Only a few places from the final 10 and a seat on the RunGood Cruise, Van De Mheen was the short stack with 12 players left but managed to get a few shoves through to chip himself out of danger.

By the time the field was on the final table bubble, Van De Mheen had above the chip average and won the most important pot of the night to eliminate Dylan Meier with the nut flush against the second nuts.

Van De Mheen entered the final table as chip leader and put on a dominating display of poker to eliminate multiple opponents. The wide gap between Van De Mheen and his opponents was never in danger and Van De Mheen eliminated the final two foes to claim victory and the $33,329 first place prize.

The win is the first for Van De Mheen and we hope to see him again soon before May's RunGood Cruise.

The next stop on the RunGood Open Water Fall Season is Tulsa, starting on November 14. Be sure to stay tuned for all news related to the RunGood Series. #ImOnABoat
