The second event of the RG Series brought 383 entrants into the DeepStack event. Danny Burks (pictured) chopped the event with Lonny Weitzel and walked out of the Horseshoe poker room with $9,500 in cold-hard cash.
The win is the first of Burks' poker career and he is in search of #2 on Day 1B of the RunGood Main Event. No player has ever won both the RunGood DeepStack and Main Event in the same series and that is what Burks is attempting to do. Regardless of how his Main Event run turns out, Burks can call this week a success.
