WSOP bracelet winner Mike Cordell (pictured) lurked for most of the start of Day 2 but is now in full contention reach the final table. Cordell busted Tyler Morris and is at his peak for the tournament.

Cordell raised under the gun and Morris three-bet to 55,000 in the hijack. The action folded back to Cordell and he stuck in a four-bet worth 160,000. Morris tanked for two minutes, counted his stack, and shoved for about 320,000 total.

Cordell called with KK♠ and the JJ of Morris was in hell. The Q32A7♣ board was what Cordell was looking for. He chips up to 630,000 and is top-five on the overall leaderboard.
