Level 3 (100/200)
Total RG Main Event Entries: 59
The preliminary events leading up to this weekend's main event drew well and had sizable first place prizes up for grabs. The $50,000 guarantee in this event will provide a five-figure score for whoever takes down the title and a few players are looking to add on to an already fantastic series.
Brandon Fish has kept plenty busy this week with a final table appearance in both the DeepStack event and the RG Pro Knock Out. Fish bowed out early on in the DeepStack final table but notched a second place finish in the Knock Out event. Running deep is nothing new for Fish, who has $380,000 in tournament earnings and three WSOP Circuit rings to his name. Additionally, Fish won the August 2015 RunGood Main Event at Council Bluffs and would join some elite company with another RG championship.
Beating out Fish for the Pro Knock Out title was James Devaney, who walked away with a $4,300 score for his victory. The win is the second for Devaney in a RunGood event as he took down the May 2016 DeepStack for $9,000 more. Devaney is pushing close to $40,000 in tournament earnings and a third RG Series victory would push him over that mark.
