Level 3 (100/200)
Day 1A Entrants: 83

The RunGood team is spread all across the United States and the Northeast is represented by the "Bronx Bomber" himself, Jose Montes. His New York Yankees fell short of an appearance in the World Series, and Montes is attempting to bring a piece of hardware back to New York City's best borough (according to some).

Montes last appeared in Council Bluffs in May 2016, when he finished 10th in a field of 209 in the RunGood Main Event. Earlier this year, Montes won the WPTDeepStacks Main Event at Maryland! Live and is in the hunt for his second title of 2017 and a seat aboard the RunGood Cruise.

Should he make it out of Day 1A (and survive fellow RunGood ambassador Blair Hinkle's photobombing), Montes will be a tough opponent to eliminate come Day 2.
