After three starting flights, Day 1 of the RGPS Downstream Main Event has come to a close. 63 players will come back at noon on Sunday to play down to a champion. The winner will take home first-place prize money, a pair of custom-made boots courtesy of Boot Factory Outlet, and a championship belt buckle from Montana Silversmiths.
John Moore set the bar for the chip lead in Flight A at 257,000, Justin Gardenhire edged out Moore for the chip lead with 282,500 in Flight B, but both were bested by Luke Prestholt (pictured) with 301,500 in Flight C.
The winner of the RGPS Downstream Main Event will receive $44,391, plus a pair of custom boots from Boot Factory Outlet and a custom belt buckle by Montana Silversmiths.
