The second flight of three in the RunGood Kansas City Main Event is nearly in the books and approximately 40 players remain from the 134 that entered. Based on the 23 players who advanced from Day 1, we should expect to see a similar ratio in this flight meaning anywhere from 25-30 survivors remaining once the bags come out.
It was right around this time last night when Michael Gebhardt hit his stride and accumulated seemingly every chip in his path on his way to bagging over 400,000. That number is almost drawing dead to be matched but any player who finds themselves near the 200,000 mark should feel pretty good about their chances of claiming the yellow jersey from this flight.
