Level 1 (100/100)
Total Entrants: 96
The final Day 1 flight of the RGPS NKC Main Event is off and running. The first two flights attracted 200 players combined to meet the $100,000 guarantee. As of kickoff time for Flight C, 96 players had already registered, adding nearly $50,000 to the prize pool. With unlimited re-entry through the start of Level 9, the prize pool will only grow larger over the next few hours.
The venue record for the RGPS Main Event is 423, and we've heard several players placing bets on whether that record will be broken tonight.
Flight A saw 12 players bag chips while Flight B advanced 33 players to Day 2 on Saturday. Corey Blevins emerged from Flight B with the overall chip lead, bagging 201,500. Other players to advance include Scott Blumstein (46,000), Ryan Phan (95,000), Jamie Kerstetter (71,500), and Seth Evans (46,500).
