The RunGood Poker Series is back at the Hard Rock Casino Resort in Tulsa this week and the Main Event kicks off tonight. The $675 buy-in event features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and three starting flights. A new records for attendance has been set during one of the preliminary events and both players and staff are hoping to create a trend for the Main Event.

The RGPS last visited the Hard Rock in February of this year, where Byron Abernathy (pictured) topped a field of 345 players to collect the RG Cup and $32,099.

The first of three Day 1 flights opens at 7:00 p.m. and all entrants in this opening session have 12 30-minute levels in front of them to reach Sunday's Day 2. Registered players begin with 20,000 chips and have an unlimited re-entry option and late registration open until the start of Level 9 (appx. 11:30 pm). A full structure sheet can be found here.

Flight B begins at noon on Saturday, with Flight C following that at 7:00 p.m. Players will also still have one shot to satellite into the Main Event, with a turbo satellite getting underway on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

In addition to the top cash prize, the winner of this season's Main Event will receive a custom-made pair of cowboy boots from sponsor Boot Factory Outlet and a custom belt buckle by Montana Silversmiths.
