November 2017 RG Main Event final tablists Jesse Jones and Shawn McCracken played next to each other at the end of Day 1B. A few hours later, Spring Brawl finalists Chad Freeman and Gil George (pictured) are battling in Day 1C.
Freeman finished in the five-way chop deal to earn a career-best score of $18,164. George is a Midwest grinder and already has two WSOP Circuit Main Event final tables to his name in 2018.
Both Tunica and Choctaw featured George among the top-seven. George is riding a wave of momentum coming into the RG Main Event and Freeman is looking to capture some of the same magic that drove him to the final table a year ago.
