RunGood Series Spring Brawl Main Event Champion - Kristen Deardorff
The announcement of the RunGood Spring Brawl Series was punctuated by the addition of championship belts to the main event winner's haul. The belt has been well documented this week in Tulsa and a worthy champion in Kristen Deardorff has earned the first one in the history of RunGood.
Deardorff started Day 2 right in the middle of the pack with 78,500 and got busy right way building a stack. Around the time the bubble burst, Deardorff was hovering toward the middle of the pack but zoomed up to the top of the leaderboard at the final table. Deardorff used aggressive play and picked up a few big hands at the right time to gradually dismantle her opponents and walked away with the title as a result.
The electrical engineer from California came to Tulsa to play in her first RunGood event and had a healthy cheering section, led by RunGood pro, Chris Conrad. This victory marks the first for Deardorff in a main event along with her first career five-figure score. Victory is sweet for Deardorff and we hope to see her back for future RunGood events.
