Level 24 (20000/40000/40000)
Total Entries: 385
Players Remaining: 7
Chip Average: 1,100,000

The tale of the final table for the last few hours has been revolving around short-stacked Mike White. The other players were waiting for him to bust before getting involved in big pots.

White, however, had no intention of going out 8th. He shoved four times in three levels, and never got a caller. Then doubled-up through Peter Phan on his fifth shove. White held 9♥7♦ against Phan's A♥8♦ in the blind vs. blind confrontation, and White came out on top when the board ran out Q♠9♠8♣4♠2♠.

As the players go to break at the end of Level 24, Phan is the short stack with 230,000. William McCracken, Blair Hinkle, and White are also short, and will come back from break with 10-12 big blinds each.

We'll bring you an updated chip count for all the players following the break.
