Mark Van Keirsbilck (pictured) flew under the radar to bag close to 200,000 on Day 1B. Van Keirsbilck dropped some of that total at the start of play but is now up to 300,000 after doubling through and effectively eliminating Will Berry.

Van Keirsbilck opened in early position to 10,000 and got a call from his next door neighbor. Berry came in from the big blind and the flop came out Q♣74♣. Berry checked and Van Keirsbilck bet 16,000. Only Berry called and the J hit the turn. Berry checked again and Van Keirsbilck put in 26,000.

Berry check-raised all-in for 112,000 total and Van Keirsbilck called for his tournament life with Berry having him covered by a single T500 chip.

Berry's K♣2♣ was drawing against the KQ♠ of Van Keirsbilck. The river provided no salvation for Berry and he hit the rail the next hand. Van Keirsbilck is at his tournament peak and the RG Main Event field is now one player closer to the money.
