Like many who are playing in this weekend's RunGood Main Event, Preston McEwen (pictured) dreams of bigger buy-ins on poker's biggest stage. According to his Twitter bio, McEwen is on his way toward playing the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event.
McEwen's hopes hit an uptick this week when he emerged victorious in the RGNLH One-Day Tunica $10,000 guaranteed event for $4,216.
The win is the second of the year at the Horseshoe for McEwen, who also won a WSOP Circuit event here in January and added $6,574 to his bankroll.
Today marks the first step in McEwen's RG Main Event journey and perhaps with a five-figure score, McEwen will be in the WSOP Main Event field come July.
