Memphis and Mississippi are well represented in the RG Main Event field. The battle to prevent the RG Cup from leaving the local area is on with locals Connie Rice (pictured) and Teresa Lammie active in the early going.
Alabama's David Troutman won the inaugural RG Main Event in Tunica last August and it remains to be seen if he will return to defend. Rice placed seventh at that final table and earned over $8,000 for her finish and solidified her role as one of the room ambassadors.
Lammie (pictured) runs the River Rat Rounders bar league in Memphis. The trip from Tunica to Memphis has been made a few times by Lammie this week, as she cashed in the RG Deepstack event and was a RunGood Bounty on Tuesday.
Coming down the finish line on Sunday, it will be interesting some of the locals still in with a chance to win.
