There is a large number of tables in the Day 1A field with interesting seating combinations. As the field starts to reduce before the final break of the night, players are starting to get familiar with their tablemates as they look to make a push toward Sunday's Day 2.
Russ Head made the trip over from Georgia to participate in the first event of the RunGood Fall Series. Head's tournament schedule is selective but he has made quite a name for himself during his appearances. Not only does Head own a WSOP Circuit Main Event ring, he is also the favorite player of RunGood ambassador Chris Conrad. Both players are almost to Day 2 and will perhaps square off then.
There are many loyal RunGood tournament supporters and Joey McCaig is among them. McCaig came into town from Missouri and is seated on the direct right of Head. McCaig reached the final table of the RunGood Main Event in Quapaw in November 2015 and if he notches another podium finish this weekend, he will earn a seat aboard the RunGood Cruise next May.
