Already with one RunGood title to his name this week, Chris Moneymaker is in the Day 1B Main Event field.
The big names here for this weekend's RunGood Main Event are plentiful but there is one man who stands above the rest. Chris Moneymaker needs no introduction to any poker fan and since winning the WSOP Main Event in 2003, has represented the game exceptionally well.
Moneymaker lives in the immediate area and plays frequently at the Horseshoe in Tunica. Already this week, Moneymaker has done well for himself by winning the RunGood DeepStack event for over $13,000 along with a seat aboard the upcoming RunGood Cruise in May. Never one to shy away from a photo or autograph request, Moneymaker is beloved by all poker fans and is the primary reason many of us play the game in the first place.
There's only one Main Event that Moneymaker will be remembered for but seeing him in the winner's circle of another prime time tournament would make for a fun storyline to follow as this weekend progresses.
