We were waiting for the arrival of the first-ever RG Main Event champion and David Troutman (pictured) is here near the end of registration for Day 1B. Troutman put together a dominating final table performance to overcome a field of 582 to win his first career title and $58,797.
The Alabama native normally sticks to cash games but has caught the tournament bug on a few occasions since his win.
Troutman finished his Day 1 session last August as one of the top stacks in the field and is looking to repeat that effort on Day 1B with five levels left in the day.
