Stephen Lane (pictured) became the first player to fall in two table play, losing the rest of his chips to Ryan Enis. Lane shoved for 200,000 blind versus blind with J2 and Enis called with 10♠9♠. The A9♣456♣ board paired Enis and he busted Lane. Enis sits with 850,000.

A few hands later, Cartwright jammed the cutoff for 285,000 with 3♣3 and Eric Johnson called on the button with A5.

The AK2 flop put Johnson ahead and the 7♠ turn left Cartwright with two outs. Sure enough, he binked the 3♠ river to double up. Johnson is down to just 175,000.

The 17 remaining players are on a 45-minute dinner break and play resumes at 8:20 pm.
