• Sarah Zeluf – local cash and tournament player.
• Tim Black – a regular on the tour with several cashes.
• Brandon Fish – winner of this event in 2016 for $34,267.
• Matt Stein – local tournament and cash game player.
• Ron Koenemann – finished runner-up in September at the RunGood Kansas City $180 DeepStack for $7,163.
• John Lawson – local player who has numerous cashes in RunGood events here at the Horseshoe including a sixth-place finish in the Main Event here in February for $6,985.
• Papa Karn – looking for a nice run here on Day 1A and fresh off making a straight flush.
