As play moves into Level 6, Omaha's Kevin Berthelsen (pictured) is one of those playing here on Day 1A, hoping to build on a nice finish in July. At the $1,100 Main Event on the Mid-States Poker Tour in Tama, Iowa, he finished runner-up for $58,104.
Berthelsen now has more than $58,000 in live tournament winnings including cashes in the DeepStack and Pro Bounty events here in October 2017.
With a nice run going of late, he'll be a player to watch as the tournament progresses.
