There could be a married couple back for Day 2 if Pam Koenemann (pictured) can continue her deep run here today in Flight 1B of the $575 RGPS Main Event.
Pam is from Omaha and works in medical nutrition sales. She also a regular poker player here at the Horseshoe and her career tournament winnings is close to $15,000. In Level 19, she was doing well with 69,000 chips.
Her husband Ron bagged 70,500 chips in Flight 1A last night, and has $146,000 in live tournament cashes including finishing runner-up in September in the $180 RGPS DeepStack event in Kansas City for $7,163.
This card-playing couple is hoping they both have a shot at the championship – as well as a nice pair of boots and a championship belt buckle.
