The RunGood Poker Series at Harrah's North Kansas City continued Tuesday with two Day 1 flights for the Deepstack event. Flight A brought 173 players to the felt, with 35 advancing to Day 2 on Wednesday. Flight B topped out at 188 players, bringing the total number of entries in both flights to 361. With one level to go before the end of Day 1 play, 47 players remain in contention.
The $20,000 guarantee was trampled into the dust as the total prize pool reached $51,984. In all, 45 players will cash in the event with $11,437 going to the event champion.
Players who advance to Day 2 will return at 11 a.m. on Wednesday to compete for a top prize of $11,437, a RunGood bracelet, a pair of boots from Boot Factory Outlet, and a custom RGPS Championship Belt Buckle.
