JOPLIN, MO. (March 14, 2022) – Downstream Casino will host the return of the RunGood Poker Series to Oklahoma, May 17 – May 22.
After a two year hiatus from the tour's home state, the RunGood Poker Series will kick-off a six day series of poker events at Downstream Casino May 17th - 22nd. To celebrate the return, the two-time Best Mid-Major Tour/Circuit will be releasing new structures with bigger starting stacks, a mid-week $50,000 GTD Deepstack Event, and two $800 packages for the filmed All-Stars ProAM powered by PokerGO.
Players can expect a dedicated tournament area separate from the cash room, with a tournament dealing staff to make the tour's return better, smoother, and more exciting than ever. Eight events are scheduled to send cards in the air with the two multi-day events set to be played down to the money (12.5%) before bagging during each flight.
Some highlights are; Tuesday, May 17th's kick-off at 10AM with a $200 Seniors Event (50+), 15,000 starting stack, followed by the 7PM $160 Pro Bounty Event with a 10,000 starting stack. This event is highlighted with ten added prizes including a $1,000 CASH envelope. The beloved mid-week Deepstack Event will pump up its starting stack to 20,000 and guarantee to a $50,000 prizepool, which is more than double the regular guarantee.
