54 Players return for Deepstack Day 2, Main Event begins tonight

The order of business on Thursday was all about the $180 Deepstack with Day 1 flights at noon and 7 p.m. By the time they were over, a total of 282 players entered, generating a prize pool of $39,480--to which a $2,000 WSOP package has been added. By the end of the night, 54 players bagged up for the Day 2 restart on Friday at noon.  Just 36 of those players will make the money, as the payout structure is as follows:

It's still anybody's ball game to win, but three players come back for Day 2 with stacks of over 200,000 chips: Ryan Tepen (232,500), Mark Turner (226,000), and Jerin Grey (225,000). Other notables still in contention include Justin Gardenhire, Clint Lilienthal, Terry "Papa" Karn, Mike Rieck, Mark Stujpff, Jose Montes, Bernard Lee, and Daniel "Duma" Lowery.

Also on the agenda for Friday is the 4 p.m. $160 Main Event satellite. Five seats are guaranteed to be given away.

The first of three Day 1 flights of the $675 RGPS Main Event starts tonight at 7 p.m.  Two more flights are scheduled for Saturday, at noon and 7 p.m.  PokerNews will be here to capture all the action. The RGPS Main Event Champion will have their name etched in the RunGood Travelling Champion's Cup and will receive a replica trophy to keep!
