Level 28 (50,000/100,000/10,000)
Total RG Main Event Entries: 582
Players Remaining: 1
Chip Average: 11,640,000

The first main event of the RunGood Open Water Fall Season drew record numbers for the inaugural RunGood series in Tunica. A total of 582 entries assembled in the Horseshoe Poker Room and over 140 of them returned for Day 2. Leading them was David Troutman, who was the only player to hit the 300,000 mark from the three Day 1 flights.

Troutman picked up where he left right away at the start of Day 2 and was near 1,000,000 within the first two levels. Once the money bubble burst, Troutman continued to be out in the lead and was at or near the chip lead until the final table. Kyle Cartwright started the final table as chip leader

Kyle Cartwright started the final table as chip leader but had the misfortune of Troutman sitting on his direct left. Troutman won nearly every major pot the two played together and gained the chip advantage early on. From there, Troutman never ceded ground and trended upwards for the entire final table. Troutman eventually finished off Cartwright in heads up play to win his tournament title.

Troutman is a cash game player but was right at home in the tournament format. The 31-year-old Troutman clinches his trip aboard the RunGood Cruise in May 2018 and hopefully, we will see him again before that time.

On behalf of the RunGood team, we want to thank the Tunica Horseshoe property and poker team for being great hosts for this week and the proud location of this record-breaking event.

The RunGood Series will be on the road again in late-October in Council Bluffs.
