Level 15 (2,500/5,000/500)
Total Entrants: 392
Players Remaining: 46
Average Stack: 170,000
The first three levels of Day 2 are complete and the field is on their first break of the day. The 46 remaining players return in a few with John Butler (pictured) in front of all but one of them. Butler took a 700,000 chip pot from Adam Mirliss and is peaking near the bubble.
Butler opened to 12,500 on the button with 5♠4♠ and Mirliss three-bet from the small blind to 30,500 with 3♦3♥. Butler called and Mirliss bet 50,000 on the J♣8♠7♠ flop. Butler shoved for close to 300,000 and Mirliss called as an underdog to the combo draw of Butler.
The 10♣ turn didn't help Butler but the Q♠ river did and he took in the pot with a flush. Mirliss is down to 150,000 and Butler is behind only Ben Warlock (730,000) on the leaderboard. When play resumes, the field has one elimination to go before locking payday.
