Ryan Phan put himself on the radar last spring when he reached two main event final tables only a few weeks apart.

Running deep in poker tournaments is hard enough but to do it as often as Ryan Phan has is staggering. Last spring, Phan finished second in two separate main events that had a four-figure buy-in.

Phan started his run in Tama, Iowa, taking home $58,000 in the Mid-States Poker Tour Main Event held at the Meskwaki Casino. A few weeks later, Phan was in Council Bluffs at The Horseshoe for the World Series of Poker Circuit. Phan earned another podium finish by finishing behind Maurice Hawkins in a memorable heads up battle.

For his efforts, Phan collected almost $70,000 and secured himself a place among the rising stars of the Midwest. Phan has also made two RunGood Main Event final tables and is ready to make his long-awaited trip into the winner's circle.
