The Day 1A field is starting to near the 100 player mark and we could see that mark hit before the end of the day. The liberal late entry policy in this event allows for a lot of time to get in on the action as two players who entered on the other side of the first break can attest to.
His byline is recognized worldwide but poker media's Mo Nuwwarah is keeping it local this weekend. Nuwwarah travels from continent to continent covering poker's biggest events and lives in Omaha when he's not on the road. Although he keeps plenty busy, Nuwwarah's poker game speaks for itself as his $51,000 in earnings can attest to. Nuwwarah does what he can to make the most of his time on the other side of the pen and a cash this weekend would mark his first in a RunGood Main Event.
Jasen Currie earned a place among the most consistent RunGood Main Event performers in 2016. Currie cashed in three series finales in the span of four weeks last summer and made two final tables in the process. Currie earned over $12,000 for that run which included a sixth-place finish here in Council Bluffs. Coming close is nice, but Currie would be plenty happy with a trip to the winner's circle in this event.
