The first main event of the RunGood Spring Brawl crushed all expectations as the Hard Rock in Tulsa saw a record-breaking turnout. The final table featured a large portion of experienced players, some of whom are in Council Bluffs attempting to go back-to-back.

Mike Rieck was short-stacked for most of Day 2 but hung on long enough to earn a spot in the chop deal made by the final five players. Rieck earned $23,000 for his run and capped off a great week in Tulsa which included a final table appearance in the DeepStack event. The score was Rieck's first in a RunGood main event and the well-traveled St. Louis native is more than capable of duplicating his feat from Tulsa.

Former RunGood Main Event Champion Troy Repp fell only a few places shy of his second career title in Tulsa. Repp bowed out in eighth place and took home a sliver under $6,000 for his finish. Repp's RG main event win came in September 2015 when he won the Tulsa championship and $34,000. Had a few things gone a hair differently earlier this month, Repp might have claimed his second title and is focused on righting those wrongs this time around.
