Greg Jennings made it to heads up play for the second time in the RunGood Spring Brawl but will have to settle for second place once again.
It came as no surprise to anyone who watched Greg Jennings play in Tulsa to see him run deep once again in a RunGood Main Event. Jennings put together another two great days of poker but once again came up one place shy of taking home his first RG title. Heads up play started with Jennings on the short stack and Mark Fink finished him off fairly quickly to claim victory.
Fink opened for 170,000 on the button and Jennings jammed for 1,900,000 out of the big blind. Fink snapped Jennings off with Q♣Q♠ and Jennings needed to hit a set or make a longshot straight with his 7♥7♠. The J♦9♣6♠ flop cracked open the backdoor for Jennings but the 4♥ turn did not add any additional outs. Needing to fade a two-outer on the river, Fink did so when the 5♦ hit.
Jennings shook Fink's hand and congratulated him on his victory as Jennings earns another silver medal in the Spring Brawl. A winner's recap will be posted shortly.
