A couple of prognosticators tried their hand at setting the over/under for how many entrants today's Day 1A flight would draw but not many of them predicted a turnout of this size. With roughly 75 minutes left in the registration period, 95 players have entered the opening flight and we will likely see the final number for tonight end up over 100 entrants.
Any player who chooses to exercise their max late reg option will come in with a shade under 20 big blinds and only four levels standing between them and a Day 2 berth. As the field continues to grow, a few big stacks have started to establish themselves and the RG Blog will return shortly with a look at some of the early chip leaders.
