With nine tables currently in play, you would expect to see one player playing relatively above the rest but someone forgot to tell Table 20 that. Pete Petree and Tai Du are both playing over 70,000 and could soon be in for a massive clash before the end of the night.
Pete Petree has already made plenty good on his time in Tulsa this week. Petree took down the Pot Limit Omaha title for a $6,000 score and seems to have picked up where he left off from a few days ago. The victory was the first for Petree in a RunGood event and he could be looking at back-to-back final tables by the time the dust settles this weekend.
On Petree's direct left sits Tai Du, who is also a veteran of success in the RunGood Series. Du placed just off the podium taking fourth place in September's RG Main Event in Tulsa and earned $11,000 in the process. Du is pushing dangerously close to the $100,000 mark in career earnings and could exceed that checkpoint with another final table appearance.
