Level 16 (3,000/6,000/1,000)
Total Entrants: 346
Players Remaining: 31
Chip Average: 215,000
Ted Forshey (pictured) could not have asked for a better start to the new level as he knocked out three players over the course of two hands to claim the chip lead.
Greg Brown shoved for 45,000 with A♣A♦ from early position and Forshey called with K♥K♠ on the button. The Q♠10♠9♠ flop gave Forshey a great sweat and after missing on the 3♥ turn, he hit the K♦ river to eliminate Brown.
The next hand, JW Lovett was all-in for about 130,000 with K♠Q♠ from early position and after Forshey flatted with A♥A♠ in the cutoff, RunGood's Grant Hinkle moved all-in for a similar amount on the button with Q♦Q♥ and Forshey called right away.
Forshey was in a great spot to pick up another pot and the A♦8♣3♠K♦J♣ board sent the two players to the rail. Only a few eliminations from the three table redraw, Forsehy is the chip leader with 570,000.
