Level 8 (500/1,000/100)
Day 1A Entries: 124

There search for the chip leader was made easy once we walked by Butch Clinton's table. Clinton (pictured) dragged a huge pot to close Level 8 and is the first player over 100,000.

On a board of 10♣3♣2♣6A♣, the cutoff checked and Clinton bet 17,000 into a pot of close to 30,000. His opponent called and Clinton's K♣K scooped the pot with a flush.

The second break of the day is here and below is a look at the leaderboard through two-thirds of Day 1A play.

Butch Clinton - 110,000
Tony Knight - 85,000
Brody Neill (pictured above) - 75,000
