Of the 156 players who entered yesterday's Day 1A flight, 38 advanced to tomorrow's Day 2. As a result, there are a few players who are exercising their re-entry option and running it back on Day 1B.
RunGood ambassador Michael Sanders has spent a good chunk of his week playing satellites in the hopes of collecting a few discounted bullets should he need them. That strategy is taking effect today as Sanders takes his second shot at this $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Sanders recently cashed four times in Cherokee and is coming off of a cash in the WSOP Main Event worth $16,000.
Six-time WSOPC ring winner John Holley is well traveled across this part of the country and fired a Day 1A bullet but came up short. The Floridian "Thinks Bink" on a regular basis and has had quite a few winner's photos taken as a result. Holley was also in Cherokee and picked up three cashes there but is in the hunt for his first post-WSOP final table.
