Harris Smith (pictured) has been among the chip leaders for most of Day 2 and is now over 1,000,000 after getting a big bluff through against Mike Cordell.
Cordell opened the lojack to 35,000 and Smith defended his big blind. Smith checked the K♣9♣3♠ flop and Cordell bet 40,000. Smith check-raised to 125,000 and Cordell called to the 9♦ turn.
The card brought a bet of 125,000 from Smith and Cordell went to the A♦ river. Smith shoved for 275,000 effective and Cordell used a minute before folding. Smith twirled 8♣7♠ in the middle and Cordell muttered he had pocket tens with the ten of clubs.
A few hands later, Cordell doubled through Kyle Cartwright with 8♦7♦ all-in on a 10♦8♥3♦ flop against Cartwright's K♣K♠ when the A♦ hit the river. Cartwright is now down to 130,000.
