Kyle Cartwright (pictured) is right on schedule to run well on Day 2 of the RG Main Event. The RG Open Water runner-up last August in Tunica caught a two-outer and is over the chip average with the bubble on the doorstep.

Matt Crutcher raised to 8,500 in early position and Michael Pelt three-bet to 27,000 out of the hijack. Cartwright shoved for 50,500 in the small blind and Crutcher moved in as well for 93,000 total.

Pelt called with Q♣Q to put Crutcher's 3♣3♠ and Cartwright's J♣J♠ at risk. The A♣85♣ flop was all good for Pelt but a J turn sent the percentages toward Cartwright. The river blanked and Cartwright earned the triple up to 160,000.

Pelt (pictured) collected the side pot and is over 200,000 in an attempt to make consecutive RG final tables after finishing third in April.
