Mike Roberts put the field one player from the three table redraw by eliminating John Hollingsworth.
The pace of play continues to be torrent on Day 2 of the RunGood Main Event and the field is closing in on the three-table redraw. The field is only five eliminations away from making it to that point and that checkpoint is likely to be crossed at the start of the new level.
Mike Roberts sent John Hollingsworth to the rail and effectively doubled his stack, bringing the field one player closer to that milestone.
Hollingsworth opened to 27,000 under the gun and Roberts shoved on the button for about 180,000. Hollingsworth had a few blinds less than that behind and tanked over his decision for a minute before putting his tournament life at risk.
Roberts showed K♣K♦ and had the 8♣8♦ of Hollingsworth at risk. The K♥5♠3♦ flop had Hollingsworth drawing dead and Roberts took in the pot after the turn.
