The RunGood Poker Series CardPlayer Cruise DeepStack Ring Event saw 206 entrants over two flights that culminated into a Day 2 after dinner. WSOP bracelet winner, Chad Holloway, fell in 11th place after a missed flush draw. Play stalled at five remaining player as short stack after short stack doubled up including Papa Karn who had less than two big blinds at one point.
The tides slowly turned to give Papa some footing and eventually into the chip lead after a miracle turn to give him two pair vs top pair and the nut flush draw. Papa pushed the tempo afterwards knocking out the remaining opponents which included a short heads up match after finding pocket kings to send him into the winner's circle.
