Saturday at the RGPS Tulsa saw two more Day 1 flights play down to the lucky few. When registration closed on the final flight of the day, a total of 282 players had entered the event, creating a prize pool of $168,740, with $38,810 reserved for the Main Event Champion.

RG Pro Ben Reason held the chip lead from Flight A, but his stack was eclipsed by players in each of the subsequent flights. RG Pro Jose Montes (pictured) went on a run for the ages in Flight B, beginning with this hand, and eliminating no less than seven players, and going on a rush in the last two levels of the day to vault his stack to a massive 417,000.

Jody Briscoe charged to the top of the leaderboard in Flight C, finishing the day with 257,000, edging out Reason but falling well short of Montes's total. One of the hands that started Briscoe on his road to the top is this one against John "Cracker" Reynolds.

Each flight included a raffle for a Samsung Curve 65" 4K television set. The Flight B winner also took home an Xbox One game console while the Flight C winner took home a Custom Yeti Roadie 20 cooler and colster set.
