Thursday at the RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa was a day packed full of events, beginning with the $180 Deepstack finale at noon, the $230 PLO tournament at 4 p.m., and finishing off with the $160 Mega Satellite.
42 players survived their Day 1 flights in the $180 Deepstack tournament Wednesday and came back to play down to a winner on Thursday. Day 1 chip leader Cary Marshall lost his spot at the top of the leaderboard several times over the course of Day 2 but managed to regain the lead when it mattered most -- with just two players left. One critical hand leading to his victory came against then chip-leader Aaron Peeler, which you can read about here.
Marshall and RG Pro Daniel "Duma" Lowery chopped the remaining prize pool heads-up with $8,362 and the RunGood Medallion going to Marshall and $7,676 going to Lowery.
