The RunGood Poker Series stops in Tulsa this week at the Hard Rock Casino Resort for a full five days of poker action. The series opened with our pro bounty tournament, which has proven to be more popular than ever with a record-breaking number of entries. 235 players entered the field, breaking the old record by 58, and creating a prize pool of $24,675! First place would pay $6,044, but making it to the money wasn't the only way to walk away with cash. Knocking out a bounty meant collecting a Fireball Whiskey shotglass and a bounty worth up to $1,000.
A surprise bonus came to the players lucky enough to be seated at Jonathan Gaviao's table. A secret admirer delivered "Jonathan Gaviao Fan Club" t-shirts to the series (pictured, left to right: Ray Henson, Jonathan Gaviao, Chris Conrad), and all of Gaviao's tablemates received one along with the RG pros in the field.
The room sported a party vibe and when a bounty went all-in, it wasn't unusual to see three or more players call for a chance to collect. The top bounty of $1,000 remained hidden well into the tournament, but finally came to light when Cherie Baber knocked out RG Pro Mina Greco.
The final table began half past midnight and wrapped up two hours later when Michael Long and RG Pro Dan Martin chopped the remaining prize pool, with Long taking the RG Medallion and $4,885 in prize money. Photos of last night can be found here.

Wednesday's action includes two Day 1 flights (at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m.) of the $180 Deepstack event; players who bag today come back to play Day 2 at noon Wednesday to play down to a winner. Not to be overlooked is the 4 p.m. $160 ME satellite with 10 seats guaranteed.
